Policy Reminders

This page highlights a few of the most critical AVSP policies.  To view all AVSP Policies, please refer to the Member Manual.

Members are required to present their membership card upon entering the Pavilion.  If a card is not presented the member may buy a new card for $3 or pay a guest fee of $10.  Guests must be accompanied by an adult member, register at the front desk and sign in.  Guest fees:  $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 years old.

Free outdoor pool passes can be picked up at the HOA office. These passes are good for the Lakes, Mills & Woods pools only (not valid at the Pavilion pool).

Please remember these important items when using the Pavilion:

  • Cell Phones:  Cell phone usage is not permitted beyond the Front Desk - Besides the distraction to others, today’s cell phones also contain cameras, and photography is not permitted in the Pavilion without prior permission. 
  • Theft:  Please secure your valuables in your lockers and cars. The Pavilion is not responsible for any lost or missing personal items.
  • NO PARKING Zone:  Parking or standing in the yellow Fire Lane is a ticketable offense.  There is no parking in the circle in front of the Pavilion.
  • Membership Cards:  Members are REQUIRED to show their membership card to enter.  There is a $3 charge to replace a missing or lost membership card.  Please bring your card with you every time you come in.
  • Entering and Exiting the Pavilion:  The only approved means to enter and exit the Pavilion is via the front (not side) door.  The side door is for handicapped use only.
  • Cardio Equipment Usage:  Please be sure to use the sign up sheets when using any of the cardio equipment in order to secure your time of use.
  • Free Weight Usage:  Please re-rack all weights and dumbbells after use.
  • Teen Usage of Fitness Center:  Members under the age of 16 must complete the Teen Weight Training Certification course and be directly supervised by an adult in order to use the Fitness Center.
  • Steam Room & Sauna Usage:  These areas are for relaxation only.  Please do not bring your gym bags into these areas.  Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in these areas.
  • AVSP REFUND POLICY
    • AVSP will consider refunds to those unable to complete or begin a program/class/event/activity due to:
    1. Medical Reason (requires physician’s note),
    2. Relocation, or
    3. Special Circumstance (case-by-case basis).
    • Registration/Enrollment fees are non-refundable.
    • All refunds, including full refunds, will incur a 25% processing fee (General Manager may authorize waiving fee).
    • Any customer who receives a refund must pay normal fees if he/she wishes to rejoin.
    • When refunds are issued, they are paid on a prorated basis & paid only for the remainder of the term of the program/class/event/activity.
    • No refunds will be given for those individuals who are dismissed for misconduct.
    • No refunds or deductions will be made for late arrivals or early departures.
    • The will be no pro-rating of refunds for a single day program/class/event/activity.
